MAIN NEWS

British Gorkhali Cricket League (BGCL) is an official and recognised cricket league in Hampshire, UK. It works  in partnership and collaboration with the Hampshire Cricket Board (HCB) and National Asian Cricket Council (NACC) and Club Cricket Conference (CCC). We also take some advice directly from the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB). In addition, we also try to make connections and interest to work with MCC Foundation and have progressive interest to work in Cricket Development in both UK and Nepal.

Our affiliation and partnership provides us with many opportunities for development. In addition, these partnership also help us obtain vital equipment’s, courses opportunities as bursaries.  For example, NACC Coach Development Bursary Scheme in association with the ECB Coach Development team, Distribution of emergency medical equipment’s such as Defibrillators. BGCL has also able to obtain 2 x defibrillators from the NACC on 14 November 2020 (see below).

We have been made aware by the MCC trustees that MCC foundation has been working actively in Nepal for Cricket development. Few glimpse of their work are in the video below. We have also been in touch with few charities and organisations to see if we can be also a part of such projects and initiatives, etc.
